“The Masters”

I am currently sitting on my couch watching “The Masters” golf tournament trying to decompress after another successful Sunday morning service at FFWC. Apparently even while I try to rest my brain feels the need to keep on working. There is no doubt Augusta is the Mecca of all golf events. The course is pristine, the traditions are great, and as the name of the tournament suggests the players are Masters at golf.
Today is the day that the next master will be donned with the coveted green jacket. The stakes are high and the pressure is on as the players grind out their last 18 holes on the hardest course of all time. As the TV coverage moves from player to player to report in the incredible shots and heartbreaking debacles I am thinking to myself a couple thoughts:

A.) I would love to play that course! Seriously it looks like something that only a dream could conjure up.

B.) Even the best players in the world who are considered “masters” have bad moments.
